COSTA
RICA - Dr.
Stephen Tates, N.D., D.H., Dipl. IM and host of the weekly Holistic
Healthcare
Television Series: Dr. Tates: Adventures In Good Health
with Ms. Velva Carter, CEO/President of
Carter-Tates Enterprises, Inc. recently returned from a 7-day
tour and Herb Walk through the
Rainforest of Costa Rica. Dr. Tates lead a group to the
Poas Volcano National Park visiting one of
natures largest, most spectacular active craters in the world
followed by a walk through the Cloud Forest.
The tour then lead us through the majestic La Paz and San
Fernando Waterfalls, and then on to visit the
beautiful Butterflies and Hummingbirds farms. Dr. Tates held
a plant identification class in the Braulio
Carrillo National Park, a protected area of almost 500 square
km of towering mountains and virgin
tropical forest. The final leg of the tour was a visit to the
Sarapiqui Jungle River where the natural
habitants of Iguanas, Monkeys, Crocodiles, and Colorful Birds were in
abundance!

to the Pacific coastline of
Costa Rica to Playa Tambor. The adventure led
them to the Waterfalls of Montezuma, Horseback
riding, and
hiking through Natural Reserves.

homes,
where crocodiles, sloths, exotic birds, iguanas, and howling monkeys
are free to roam. |

Dr. Tates and Ms.
Carter
experienced an entirely different
world of warm tropical weather and vegetation. They found
the
trip to be relaxing and well paced.
