The AIMA
awards the Diplomat status in Integrative Health Care to

achievements in Complementary and
Alternative Medicine. The
American Integrative Medical Association is not a membership organization,
but actually
an association by which legitimate complementary and
alternative medical and healthcare
clinicians, practitioners, and natural
product developers and distributors, voluntarily submit
substantial
documentation to a peer review panel for consideration and recognition.
Accepted candidates are entered into a database, which will serve to
denote the
professional status of the applicant.
Dr.

qualified him
for professional certification, but because of his extensive
training and qualifications, he
was awarded the Diplomat status, a
